Ingredients used in Jain Gravy
Koya optional - 1 tablespoon.
Paneer - 1 cup.
Beans - 1 cup.
Cashew nuts - 10 number.
Cumin powder - pinch.
Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
Garam masala each (star anise, cardamom, cloves, bay leaf, biryani flower) - 1 number.
Red chill powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
Salt - to taste.
Oil - 1 tablespoon.
Bottle gourd grated - 1 tablespoon.
Pumpkin grated - 1 tablespoon.
Garam masala powder - pinch.
Coriander leaves - 1 bunch.
Instruction:
Step 1. Grate pumpkin,bottle gourd and keep it aside.
Step 2. Blend cashewnuts in blender and keep it aside too.
Step 3. Take a pan add oil,garam masala spices, grated pumpkin, bottle gourd, salt, red chili powder, saute it till it become brown or cook for 5 minutes then add red chili powder,coriander powder,salt,cumin powder,cashew nuts paste cook for 2 minutes.
Step 4. Then add tomato paste and cook till tomatoes are tender.
Step 5. Then add oil, water as required cook it for 5 minutes till the gravy is thicker.
Step 6. Later, add boiled beans,paneer, any vegetables as required mix well and then add garam masala powder,koya ( optional )coriander leaves mix well.
Step 7. Serve it hot with roti.
