INGREDIENTS
4 cups Palak
500 gms paneer
4 Tomatoes
2 tsp ginger (chopped)
1 tsp coriander Powder
1 tsp turmeric Powder
1 tsp red chilli Powder
1 tsp ghee
1/2 tsp cumin
salt To taste
2 tsp cream (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1. Wash and rinse palak leaves thoroughly. In a pan boil water.
Step 2.Add palak leaves to the boiling water.This process is called blanching.
Step 3.Add running water over it to cool down.
Step 4.Add it to a blender.
Step 5.Puree it.
Step 6.In a pan add oil and ghee.
Step 7.Add paneer cubes.
Step 8.Take them out once golden brown.
Step 9.Add in a bowl of cold water.This will ensure the paneer not being rubbery and chewy.
Step 10.In a pan add oil and cumin seed, grated ginger chopped tomato.
Step 11.Add turmeric powder,red chilly powder and coriander powder.Also add palak puree.
Step 12.Mix well and boil for 5 minutes.
Step 13.Add paneer cubes.
Step 14.Jain Style Palak Paneer is ready to be served.
