Ayambil Special – Mixed Dal Dosa

Mixed dal dosa is an instant dosa requiring no rice, no fermentation made of variety of dals which makes it protein rich.

Ingredients

2/3 cup Udad dal (Soaked for 6 hrs)

1/3 cup Yello moong dal (Soaked for 6 hrs)

1/3 cup Chana dal (Soaked for 6 hrs)

1 pinch Asafoetida (Hing)

Salt to taste


Instructions

Step 1

Wash and soak al the dals for 6 hours.

Step 2

Rinse and drain and grind into a smooth paste. Do not use too much water.

Step 3

Add salt, asafoetida(hing) and water till you get thick pouring consistency, not too watery. Keep the batter aside for 15 mins.

Step 4

Heat a pan/tava and spread on the pan, starting from center.

Step 5

Cook till brown and crisp on one side, no need to cook the other side.

Step 6

Serve hot.
